Turkey-United States Commission for Cultural Exchange known as Turkey Fulbright Education Commission supports cultural exchange programs among Turkish and American university graduates, researchers and scientists. Fulbright Program was commenced with a law made by US Senate upon the proposal of Senator J. William in 1946. The budget for the program is provided with the support of the two governments. The Fulbright Program aims to strengthen mutual understanding and respect between the citizens of the Republic of Turkey and the US with the cultural exchange path.
Managers, planners or experts who are in the middle of their careers, working in the public sector, with leadership qualities and open to professional development can apply for Hubert H. Humphrey Bursary Program which has two aspects as academic and professional development. Humphrey bursars participate in professional development activities including professional visits, conferences, training programs and internships for at least 6 weeks in addition to the special study programs in the leading universities of the United States.
